McCaffrey's meat departments carry only the finest meats and poultry available.

McCaffrey's markets sells only USDA graded choice and prime beef because of its quality,

robust flavor, and juiciness in every bite.

The heart of our meat category is Certified Angus Beef, USDA prime grade because it reflects McCaffrey's commitment to quality.

Only eight percent of all beef meets the strict qualifications of the Certified Angus Beef Brand and only one percent of all beef meets the standards of Certified Angus Beef USDA

Prime Grade.

We also offer Montana Ranch Brand Authentically Natural Meats. "Authentically Natural" production claims a "never-ever" approach to antibiotics, hormones, and animal by-products.

We have most recently added Roseda Dry Aged Angus Beef, which is exclusive to McCaffrey's markets and is locally grown in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Roseda Dry Aged Angus Beef is raised without the use of growth hormones, chemical feed additives, or animal by-products. Roseda Dry Aged Angus Beef is dry aged for fourteen to twenty-one days to insure great flavor and tenderness.

All our meats get the McCaffrey trim of one-eighth inch or less of fat, giving you more value for your dollar.

McCaffrey's is proud to provide a full line of Bell & Evans fresh, all natural chicken cut and packaged fresh daily at each store. We carry Murray's certified humane, fresh all natural chicken, plus McCaffrey's Own fresh all natural grade "A" chicken, along with Perdue fresh and prepared products. We have D'Artagnan Organic chicken available, as well as other D'Artagnan specialties; Foie Gras, terrines, and mousses, and wild game meats available on order.
